Weippe Pioneer Called By Death
Orofino, Jan., 17. - Mrs. Sally L. Snyder, 72, died at a hospital here Monday after a lingering illness. She was born in West Virginia and had lived in the Weippe area for the last 36 years.
Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Zerna Price, Mrs. May Vandevender, Mrs. Ethel Thornton, all of Weippe; Mrs. Hazel Bond, Clarkston; Mrs. Bea Adams, Bremerton, Wash.; and three sons, Dayton Snyder, Weippe; Russell Snyder, Lewiston; and Guy Snyder, Bend, Ore.
Funeral services will be held at the Community church at Weippe tomorrow afternoon at 1 and interment will be in the Weippe cemetery beside her husband, Job Snyder. Arrangements are by the Blake funeral home.
